Cancellation Policy
For 1 or 2 excursions, shore excursions or tours only:
- 3 days or 72 hours prior: 100% refund of the money.
- 2 days or 48 hours prior: 50% refund of the money.
- 1 day (24 hours) or cancellation on the day of the tour: 0% refund of the money.
- No show or late arrival may also result in the loss of your booking payment.
- Cancellations must be received by email.
For multi-day program:
- Up to 25 days prior to start of program: 100% refund of the money minus any non-refundable amounts, subject to notes below.
- 24 to 15 days prior to the start of the program: 50% refund of the money.
- Less than 15 days before the start of the program: 0% refund of the money.
- No show or late arrival may result in changes in your program or loss of your booking payment. A refund will be dependent upon the circumstances.
- Custom-designed programs/bookings will incur a $300 per person non-refundable penalty for cancellations made any time after the booking has been confirmed.
- Cancellations must be received by email.
NOTE: Reservations made for holiday weekends or seasons such as Easter, Peak season, Christmas or New Year’s Eve will incur non-refundable amounts, regardless of the amount of cancellation notice.
NOTE: Refunds for programs that include hotels, lodges or any type of accommodations will be governed by the refund policy of the contracted hotels.
Change Policy
Patagonia Southernland Expeditions & Patagonia Chile Adventures DMC reserves the right to cancel and/or modify (as) trip (s) as adverse weather conditions and/or force majeure, which put at risk or group of participants of the tour.
Tours canceled due to force majeure or climatic factor; another option will be given to the passenger (menu of Excursions on our webpage or any available excursion at the moment in the area if possible) or change the tour date, according your schedule.
Patagonia SoutherLand Expeditions & Patagonia Chile Adventures DMC will not be responsible/liable for not embarking/disembarking or cancel the trip in the airport, ports, highways or routes by the decision of the Air Captain or the Air Authority on the airports of Chile(Applicable just in Commercial Flights); Cruise ship captain, Navy or Armada de Chile and Police Department or Carabineros de Chile . The Company will not be responsible/liable for acts of God, acts of war, or weather conditions, or for events in foreign countries, which result in changes to the original program with the result of lost days, hotel booking, and extra fees. The Company will not be responsible/liable for the failure of the passenger to disembark or the failure of the ship to dock in the port by the decision of the cruise ship captain or our Marine Authority for the ports of Chile. Once started the activity, custom program or excursion, there will be no refunds.
IMPORTANT!: We recommend you purchase trip insurance at the time of booking, to cover possible cancellation fees, lost luggage, medical expenses and other things that can occur during your stay in the country.
