ITINERARY: This tour is ideal for passengers ending their cruise in the port of Valparaiso or San Antonio and needing a transfer from the ship to their Santiago hotel or the Santiago airport, with an overview tour of the major attractions in Valparaiso, Viña del Mar and wine tour at Casablanca valley.
Depart from the pier or your hotel. Drive through Valparaiso, passing the National Congress building and the commercial district, en route to the neighboring city of Viña del Mar where you’ll see the famous Flower Clock. Traveling along the coastal road, you pass the Casino built in the 1930’s and through residential neighborhoods with their varied architecture and well groomed parks and gardens.
Heading towards Santiago, you travel through the picturesque Chilean countryside, including the famous wine-producing valleys of Casablanca. Here we stop and enjoy our wine tasting and winery tour.

A relative newcomer to winegrowing, the Casablanca Valley was first planted to vine in the mid-1980s. It quickly turned a page in Chile’s winemaking history and caught the world’s attention.
Casablanca is located 60 miles (100km) northwest of Santiago and only 20 miles (30km) from the Pacific Ocean at the furthest point. This means that Casablanca is strongly influenced by the cooling effects of the Humboldt Current, which flows up the west coast of Chile from the Antarctic.
No wonder there are a number of well known wineries in this valley: Veramonte, Emiliana, Viña Mar, and Loma Larga, as well as Casablanca, to name a few.
We will visit one of these wineries, for a tour of their vineyards, grounds and winery, making sure to leave time for tasting some of these excellent Chilean wines. You may also visit their store and purchase some wine and wine accessories to take with you. Also lunch is possible in a couple of the wineries, previos reservation.
The tour finishes at your hotel or International airport “Arturo Merino Benitez” in Santiago.
